We’re at Hall 2, stand C 05 just by the main entrance near the D-Link crew.
Our stand is sure to be something that stands out as its three times bigger than last years effort!
We’re putting together an offer that visitors can’t refuse.
If you’re in Sydney from Tuesday to Thursday next week, we’d love to see you!

A new feature for Tomizone Hotspot owners is the traffic light / status indicator. A really cool feature which lets you see when Tomizone last heard from your router. To go there, click on “Manage Hotspots” in your account and you’ll see the current status of your Hotspot(s). If your traffic light is showing red, it simply means that we’ve not heard from the Hotspot and you should check the location, restart the Hotspot (it may have jammed up) and check the status again once you’ve tested it.
Of course, you need a Hotspot to make this work so get one here if you don’t have one!

Our customers are telling us that Tomizone Hotspots are easy and affordable to use. Now we’ve made some big changes at Tomizone to make accessing the Internet even easier.
Our new website has been rolled in, its easier for users to login to a Hotspot and it will be better for owners to run a hotspot.
We’re also adding heaps of new Hotspot locations daily because of the new D-Link DIR-300 release in Australasia - if you want to join the network as a Hotspot owner, you’ve got to get started here!

If you operate a Tomizone hotspot, you’ll notice on the “Manage my Tomizone” panel when you click on your Hotspot, a new ‘advanced configuration’ button appears. At the moment, the advanced configuration will let you set upload and download speeds for your Hotspot. This setting is is a way for you to allocate how much bandwidth speed you wish to share for each Tomizone user on your hotspot. By ‘Default’, it is set to Maximum.
Watch out for more Tomizone Hotspot features in this area over time that you can apply!

Today Tomizone launched on our first Metropolitan Wi-Fi network that covers 8 cities through New Zealand. Tomizone customers can now use the same account credentials in the Tomizone Wi-Fi Hotzone which is running on the Kordia Metro Wi-Fi Network. Our service runs on the SSID of “Tomizone Cheap and Easy”.
With many deployments of Metro Wi-Fi deployments around the the world, it’s essential for our customers and partners to have consistent Wi-Fi access across different types of networks. This is particularly exciting for us as it demonstrates that Tomizone does work with Metro Wi-Fi projects.
What is really cool for Tomizone Hotspot owners is that this type of deployment can attract more customers. For a business “deep inside a building” where Metro Wi-Fi might not offer blanket coverage, a Tomizone Hotspot connected will be quite complimentary!
Now we are in search for other Metro Wi-Fi projects to plug into!

So you operate a Tomizone Hotspot and want to sell vouchers at your place! It can now be done using your account page…and unlike other services where you have to wait for the vouchers to come from printers or the provider, these ones are simple to use (only a 9 digit string), are instantly available and activated immediately. In another world first, Tomizone Vouchers are available in a number of formats to suit your printing format.
Here are some circumstances you may want to sell or use vouchers:
- You are a cafe operating a hotspot, then buy, download and print the vouchers and sell them at your counter.
- You are in charge of a sales team and want the team to have Tomizone access on the road. With your Tomizone account, buy, download and print the vouchers off and give them to your team to use.
- You have a hotel and want to provide secure “free and limited” daily access to people who buy a room night and want to use Tomizone at your hotel. Buy, download and print the vouchers to give to the guests free of charge - you’ll get 50% of the money you paid for the vouchers back once the guest redeems the voucher.
Vouchers can be downloaded in RGB format (for your standard printer at the office), CMYK format (for your professional printer) or just a .csv file that can be put into a mail merge or print merge with your design.
We’d be keen to hear about other enhancements you’d like to see on the vouchers and the way they work!
